I wonder how much faster tech support would get my internet working if I told them….
A girl has a Shaman to play, after all.  These things cannot take too long.
And holy cow, guys.   I got called out so many times for using my arrow keys instead of WASD….I have WASD key-bound to different things (quick shot spell rotation macros, auto-run/-follow for example), and my mouse has 15 buttons on it.  Chill.

I’ve made a guide for your convenience in the situation c:

The only exception being that you have EVERY SINGLE ABILITY bound to your mouse. And even then you’d want to use wasd, as most people use a ` or the ctrl key to talk on vent, and you’d want to be closer to that.
Go in game and unbind those “follow you” or whatever moves from wasd, and bind them to your arrows, easy as pie.

am i the only one who doesn’t understand why anyone would bind /follow to anything? i also don’t understand how anyone could EVER play with the arrow keys, mostly because idk how anyone could stand keyboard turning that hard. i’m so confused.

the thing that confuses me is that she posted a text post about her internet being down and contacting tech support…
Correct me if I’m wrong
I thought you had to be connected to the internet to be on tumblr tho ._.

ROFLDERP. i didn’t even think about that.
btw her toon is just about as impressive as you’d expect. /cough. at least it’s 85 though.. i guess.

Ooooh, fun.Alright, now let’s try this keyboard: I never jump to the left to use anything even remotely near the WASD keys.  Which is why I use the arrow keys.Let’s add another factor - I have a medical condition that makes my hands shake uncontrollably if I use them too much.  So I try to limit the amount of movement I need to utilise to play the game.  As it happens, using keys to move is much easier on my condition than, say, moving a mouse around all day.If you want an entire list of key-bindings, you’re out of luck.  I have to completely remap the standards to play on a Macbook keyboard.   You press F1, the screen darkens.  You press F4, you get the Mac dashboard.  Almost every ability is bound to my mouse - only requiring a R-option and R-command to complete the circuit.  1 through 0 are on the side of my mouse.I assure you, my PC layout is much more “sensible” according to you, kiango. And I would bind follow because the main Alliance shaman toon that I use (which I’m certain your comment was directed to, because it certainly wasn’t directed to my Horde 85s.) is primarily about working on quests and reading storylines.  Meaning gear = mediocre.  http://us.battle.net/wow/en/character/silvermoon/Brich%C3%A5ron/simple  It’s not great, I admit it.  But that’s not for raiding or dungeons…Hell, I haven’t even touched a Heroic with that one.  But it’s great for buying BoAs for other things.  And I think even you’d agree that escort quests are annoying.
So.  Lightning Shield -> follow -> heal macro -> sit back and let it play itself out, occasionally hitting S for follow again.  Don’t really have to do anything except let them hit me, unless it’s a level 80+ quest.  And as for the internet?Welcome to the modern age. It’s called a 3G Mobile Hot Spot. Not great for running MMOs, but fine for uploading to Tumblr and using FB.Cheers.
